Our second feature on the #iLikeMe Blog is Zoe! She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is outside. I enjoy following Zoe’s journey, especially her Road to Miss Teen USA! I know that you all will LOVE her as much as the ladies at iLikeMe do!
As Miss MS Teen USA, what has been your favorite appearance or community service project… whether it has been virtual due to COVID-19 or before the virus was here? I have loved being able to serve the children in my community through “Zoe’s Closet!” Through my organization and being crowned Miss MS Teen USA, I have been able to provide underprivileged children with life-changing resources.
If you could only have one of these attributes, which would you have and why? Self-Love, Self-Confidence, OR Kindness? If I could only have one attribute it would be kindness. My favorite quote is “treat others the way you want to be treated.” It is so important to treat others with kindness because kindness is contagious and a kind word is the kind of world I want to see.
As Miss Teen USA is approaching, what are the ways that you are preparing for nationals? Gym time, interview prep, dress, and fitness rehearsal? We’d love to know more!! I have several sponsors that help me prepare in each aspect of the competition. Each of my sponsors is phenomenal, and we are working every day in each section of the competition to better myself and to be prepared for Miss Teen USA!
Tell the readers more about Zoe’s Closet, and how we can get involved! “Zoe’s Closet” is an organization that I started two years ago to provide underprivileged children with things such as backpacks, school clothes, dental hygiene products, and basic necessities. To get involved one can follow my page on Instagram @zoebighams.closet and contact me through Instagram to learn how to donate!
What’s your favorite inspirational quote? “Treat others the way you want to be treated” is my favorite quote. Kindness is key to a better world, and as I said before kindness is contagious.
Please feel free to leave Zoe a word of encouragement in the comments, she would love to read them.
