Madeleine Johnson is a 15 year old rising junior, who is your 2020 International Junior Miss Connecticut Jr Teen and CEO of her own platform: Love Branches Out. She is a model, athlete, avid traveler and has a heart of service. She has modeled most notably with American Girl at age 6, which was her start into the pageant world. Now, she is a 2 time National Service Ambassador, part of her school’s “USA” program, Key Club, and National Charity League. This year, she also placed in Pageant Planet’s Best of Pageantry with the #4 Best Jr Teen evening gown and #10 Best Jr Teen/Teen headshot. In her future, Madeleine hopes to attend Yale and become a bilingual adoption attorney, as she herself is an adoptee. As your IJM Connecticut Jr Teen, Madeleine has been able to start her own platform: Love Branches Out, which helps kids in foster care and supports adoptees like herself. Her platform’s outreach focuses on “Cards of Hope” which are encouragement and birthday cards for the foster kids. This year, she has been able to make and collect over 100 cards. Each week she also provides a “Fact Friday” which helps educate others on adoption and foster care. Madeleine’s journey with pageantry has allowed her to hold multiple titles, awards, and gain scholarship money. Her titles include: 2020 International Junior Miss Connecticut Jr Teen, 2020 Miss Chandler High School America, 2020 PageantDoor Teen Miss Photogenic June 21-27, Quarantine Queen Princess, 2019 USA National Miss Arizona Jr Teen, and 2019 USA National Miss Phoenix Jr Teen. She has also competed and placed in National American Miss Arizona and Arizona Cinderella Charm Girls. Why does Madeleine love #ILikeMe?
